Service Description

Intake Workers help newcomers by determining eligibility for services, conducting a needs assessment and developing a settlement plan for each eligible client. When possible, family members are registered together at the same appointment. Services include:
  • Collecting the personal information needed to provide further services
  • Initial help applying for certain important documents and services
  • Providing relevant information to assist with settlement
  • Making referrals to internal or external programs, based on individual needs
People must go through the intake process to become registered clients and access other programs offered by this agency.


Anyone who is an immigrant to Canada and settling in PEI

How to Access:
Call reception or drop in to book an intake/registration appointment * Due to high client volumes appointments may take place up to 7 days after booking
Documents Required:
Passports and any other immigration documents
Arabic * English * French * Mandarin * Vietnamese * Interpreters are available in 26 other languages and multiple languages are available on call
