Service Description
Provides students with summer employment that exposes them to health care fields in PEI. Work sites may include:
- Long term care facilities
- Home care
- Primary care sites
- Hospitals (including psychiatric)
- Health PEI head office
Information
Eligibility:
Students legally entitled to work in Canada who are:
-A Grade 12 student who will be graduating and entering a post-secondary health care program in the fall OR
-A post-secondary student currently enrolled in a health related program who is returning to school in the fall to study the same program OR
-A graduating post-secondary student who will be returning to school to study another health care program
-A Grade 12 student who will be graduating and entering a post-secondary health care program in the fall OR
-A post-secondary student currently enrolled in a health related program who is returning to school in the fall to study the same program OR
-A graduating post-secondary student who will be returning to school to study another health care program
