Service Description
Offers advice and financial assistance to landowners in PEI to help them manage their private woodlots. Includes:
- Technical advice from a forester or forest technician
- Forest management plan (developed by a private sector forest consultant)
- Funding of up to 70% of the estimated cost of many recommended treatments
Information
Eligibility:
Private woodlot owners who have at least 1 hectare of forest land in PEI
Fees:
Yes * Owner must be able to pay their portion of recommended treatment costs
How to Access:
Submit the FEP Forest Management Plan Funding Form and the Land Owner Agreement Form (available on website)
