Service Description

Provides food hampers that include canned and boxed goods, milk, vegetables, meat, and fresh fruit to people in need. Clients receive one hamper per month.

Pick-up times are available three times per week in Charlottetown and one time per week in Cornwall.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Clients can access twice a month if needed * All grocery hampers are being pre-packaged and the number of people allowed in the building at once is limited * If clients cannot get to the food bank, they will try to arrange delivery * Cornwall pick-up on Thursdays: clients need to be at the Lions Club (Curling Club) between 10am-10:15am and need to pre-order by Wednesday

Open to all * Program can be accessed once per month * Mainly serves residents in the Charlottetown, Stratford and Cornwall areas but all Islanders in need are welcome to drop-in

Registration required on first visit * Cornwall food hamper pick-ups must be preordered by Wednesday noon

To register: Valid PEI Health Card for each family member receiving food * Current piece of mail to show proof of residence
