Service Description
Provides support and services to families of people living with intellectual disabilities. Includes:
- Staff visits families to provide information and assess individual needs
- Helping connect families to services and supports in the community
- Parent support networks and parent-to-parent connections
- Assisting families in planning meetings with supports such as schools, government and non-profit agencies
- Helping families work together with professionals involved in their loved one's care
