Service Description

Helps individuals who have been involved in the criminal justice system (or who are at risk) prepare for employment. The skills and needs of the individual are assessed and a Return to Work Action Plan is created.

Includes:
  • Human relationship skills
  • Self-management
  • Planning and goal-setting
  • Employment and job search skills
  • Building resumes and cover letters

Information

Eligibility:
Must be at least 16 years of age and meet one of the following criteria:
-Have prior involvement with the Criminal Justice System
-Have current involvement with the Criminal Justice System
-Are at risk of becoming involved in the Criminal Justice System (Example: mental health challenges, substance abuse, homelessness, etc.)

Drop in, call, text or email for self-referral * Referral from probation officer or social worker if applicable
