In person CPR AED and First Aid Courses.
First Aid Course
Prepares learners through instruction, demonstration and practice to apply first aid during common health emergencies. Meets regulatory requirements for workplace first aid courses federally and in most provinces and territories. Includes topics such as:
CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Course
Provides skills and confidence to respond to someone having a cardiac arrest, topics include:
First Aid Course
Prepares learners through instruction, demonstration and practice to apply first aid during common health emergencies. Meets regulatory requirements for workplace first aid courses federally and in most provinces and territories. Includes topics such as:
- Emergency scene management
- Shock, fainting, and unconsciousness
- Head, spine, and pelvic Injuries
- Severe bleeding and wounds
- Adult/Child/Infant Resuscitation
- Medical conditions (including asthma, allergies, diabetic emergencies, seizures, and poisoning)
- Treatment of burns
CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Course
Provides skills and confidence to respond to someone having a cardiac arrest, topics include:
- How CPR improves survival
- Recognizing when someone needs CPR
- Adult CPR and AED use
- Adult choking relief
- Child CPR, AED and choking
- Infant CPR and choking
