COVID-19 Testing for International Travel

Individuals who require a negative COVID-19 test to travel internationally must be tested by scheduled appointment. The QEH Health Records Department will then supply a PDF file showing the test results.

To make arrangements for testing and receipt of results:

1. Contact the scheduling centre at least 5 days prior to international travel to book an appointment for testing, by calling 1-833-533-9333 (Option 1) or emailing COVIDtravel@gov.pe.ca. The centre will contact you directly within 1-3 days to book an appointment.

2. Once an appointment is scheduled, contact the QEH Health Records Department by calling 902-894-0257 or emailing qehroi@ihis.org to explain that you need your test results before travel. They require the following information:

• If emailing, use the subject line Urgent Flight
• Provide your name, contact information (phone and email), the date of your flight and the date of your scheduled testing appointment
• Attach a picture of a photo ID that includes your full name and date of birth. If you do not have such an ID, attach a picture of an ID which includes your full name and date of birth.
• The records department will send your results as a PDF document. Call if you experience delays receiving your results.
