Individuals can file a confidential formal complaint if they have concerns about:
  • How their personal investments have been handled
  • A company they have invested in
  • Possible breach of security laws by a company or individual

How to Access:
Submit a written complaint by letter, email or fax * People who have a concern with their investment account, financial advisor or investment company should attempt to resolve the issue with their financial advisor, branch manager or compliance officer before making a complaint to the Securities Office
Documents Required:
Complaints must be in writing and include: -Your name and contact information-What the complaint is about-Date and time of incidents-Steps you have taken to try to resolve the issue-Names and addresses of those involved and your relationship to the company or individual who is the source of the complaint-Copies of letters, cancelled cheques, account statements, or other documents that help explain and support your complaint (if available)-Other relevant information that would be helpful to better understand your concerns
