Service Description

Connects newcomers to Canada with settled resident volunteers who wish to invite newcomers into their home for the holiday season so they can experience Canadian holiday traditions by sharing a meal, seasonal activity or party invitation together. Typically individuals and their hosts get together either around Thanksgiving, Christmas or New Year's.

Eligibility:
Open to all newcomers but must be/become a registered client of IRSA * Volunteers must be residents of PEI and registered as volunteers

How to Access:
Individuals who are not registered clients can register online or book an appointment with an Intake Worker to become clients for free * Existing clients can drop in, call or email to register for the program * Individuals who wish to be hosts can register online to become a registered volunteer
