Service Description
Provides colorectal cancer testing using a Fecal Immunochemical Test (FIT) Kit. The kit allows people to take a stool sample in the privacy of their own home then return it to a designated health care site in their area for testing.

Eligibility:
People age 50-74 years who:
-Have no family history of colorectal cancer (parent or sibling)
-Are not experiencing any changes in bowel movements, visible blood in stool or excessive vomiting
Note: Anyone experiencing the above symptoms or who have a family history should consult a health professional about what screening option is best for you (FIT Kit or referral for a colonoscopy)

How to Access:
Register via the website and a FIT Kit will be mailed to you along with instructions for use and sample drop-off locations * You can also call or email to request a kit or pick one up at a local health centre (list available online)
Documents Required:
You will need your PEI Health Card and personal health information in order to complete the online registration form
