Service Description

Provides food hampers and children's toys to individuals and families with a self-identified need during the holiday season.

Families can register for toys and the food hamper.

Summerside:
  • Food hampers contain a full holiday meal with a turkey, vegetables, trimmings, milk, eggs, and small grocery gift card
  • Kids 10 years and younger receive a bag full of toys
  • Kids 11-17 years receive a $100 gift card
  • Registration dates: November 7th-30th at times listed below
  • Pick-up dates:
    • December 19th for individuals and families with no kids
    • December 20th for families with kids
Charlottetown:
  • Food hampers contain a full holiday meal with a turkey, vegetables, and trimmings
  • One toy per child and the family can pick a toy from available donations
  • Registration dates: October 23rd-November 10th at times listed below

Open to anyone with a self-identified need * Must not be accessing another Christmas program

How to Access:
Charlottetown: Drop in or call for details if unable to register in person * Summerside: Drop in during listed times to register * If unable to register in person, someone can do so on your behalf but must have a signed letter of permission and your ID
Documents Required:
ID for everyone in the household * Signed letter of permission if registering on someone's behalf for Summerside program
Program Hours:
Charlottetown Registration: Mon, Wed, Fri 1pm-3pm until November 10th * No registration November 6th * Additional registration date November 4th from 9am-11am
Summerside Registration: Tues & Thurs 10am-3pm November 7th-30th
