Service Description
PEI's Child and Youth Advocate is an independent officer of the Legislative Assembly and supports the rights of children through individual advocacy services such as:
- Hearing concerns directly from children, youth and their families and helping them to have their concerns heard and taken seriously.
- Concerns might centre around experiences with government agencies such as: Adoption Services * Health/Mental Health/Addiction Services * Child Protection * Education * Justice * Social Services * Or other agencies.
- Connects youth and their families to programs and services

Any child or youth (or their family) who requires individual advocacy support * Anyone who has general concerns about children and youth rights in Epekwitk / PEI
