Caregiver Support Groups

Service Description
Provides in-person and online support groups for caregivers, friends and family members of individuals living with dementia. In-person support groups are held in Charlottetown, O'Leary, Summerside, and Montague. Features of meetings include:
- Exchanging stories and making friends
- Accessing the most current information about dementia
- Learning and sharing practical tips
- Decreasing feelings of loneliness and isolation
- Finding a sense of hope
- Connecting with others who understand

Program Hours:
Charlottetown: First and third Wednesday of the month at 1pm * Fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm
Charlottetown Young Onset Dementia: Fourth Thursday of the month at 6pm * Virtual option available
Summerside: Second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 2pm
Montague: Second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 12:30pm
O'Leary: First and third Tuesday of the month at 6pm
