Service Description

Provides in-person and online support groups for caregivers, friends and family members of individuals living with dementia. In-person support groups are held in Charlottetown, O'Leary, Summerside, and Montague. Features of meetings include:

  • Exchanging stories and making friends
  • Accessing the most current information about dementia
  • Learning and sharing practical tips
  • Decreasing feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Finding a sense of hope
  • Connecting with others who understand

Caregivers, friends and family members of individuals living with dementia

Call, email to register or click make a referral access support now on website (preferred contact method)

Program Hours:
Charlottetown: First and third Wednesday of the month at 1pm * Fourth Tuesday of the month at 5:30pm
Charlottetown Young Onset Dementia: Fourth Thursday of the month at 6pm * Virtual option available
Summerside: Second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 2pm
Montague: Second and fourth Wednesday of the month at 12:30pm
O'Leary: First and third Tuesday of the month at 6pm
