Service Description
Provides outreach, advocacy and follow-up services that address the social and emotional needs of BIPOC individuals on PEI. This is provided through:
Navigation and advocacy support is available around issues of:
- Assessment of needs
- Support
- Connecting to resources
- Advocacy
- System navigation
- Assistance with filling out forms
- Accompaniment to meetings
- Other needs as they arise
- Identification of system gaps and engaging the community to fill those gaps
Navigation and advocacy support is available around issues of:
- Justice
- Education
- Health care
- Housing
- Employment
- Discrimination
