Service Description

Provides outreach, advocacy and follow-up services that address the social and emotional needs of BIPOC individuals on PEI. This is provided through:
  • Assessment of needs
  • Support
  • Connecting to resources
  • Advocacy
  • System navigation
  • Assistance with filling out forms
  • Accompaniment to meetings
  • Other needs as they arise
  • Identification of system gaps and engaging the community to fill those gaps

Navigation and advocacy support is available around issues of:
  • Justice
  • Education
  • Health care
  • Housing
  • Employment
  • Discrimination
Navigators can meet off site if required.
