FEB 26/2021: UPDATE REGARDING TESTING IN SUMMERSIDE FOR 14-29 YEAR OLDS:
The Chief Public Health Office announced late this afternoon that all young people ages 14-29 WITHOUT SYMPTOMS should get tested this weekend.
Testing will take place at the Three Oaks Senior High School (10 Kenmoore Avenue, Summerside, PE) and the schedule is as follows:
Saturday Feb 27, testing for 14 to 21 year olds

Sunday Feb 28, testing for 22 to 29 year olds:
- Those born Jan 1-June 30 should come b/w 8am-2pm
- Those born July 1-Dec 31 should come b/w 2pm-8pm

Provides assessment and testing services for residents experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.
ASSESSMENT
Islanders who are unsure if a test is required can complete a self-assessment online, call their family doctor or nurse practitioner, or call 8-1-1 for direction. Symptoms include:
- New onset fever
- New or worsening cough
- Sore throat
- Runny nose
- Sneezing
- Congestion
- Unusual fatigue
- Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea have been reported along with other symptoms, and may happen more often in children.
TESTING
As of March 1, 2021: Everyone arriving from outside the Maritime provinces (NS and NB), who is in isolation and is not already being tested, is required to be tested on days 0-1, 4-6, and 9-11.
Anyone experiencing COVID-19 symptoms or who has been in close contact of a laboratory-confirmed case starting 48 hours prior to the case developing symptoms should be tested for COVID-19.

Do not bring pets to testing (except service dogs if required), keep windows rolled up until advised otherwise, and everyone over the age of 2 years must wear a mask. Do not take a taxi to testing. Call if no transportation and arrangements will be made for a test.
The Chief Public Health Officer will contact an individual directly if their test result is positive.

Eligibility:
People who have tried the internal claims and appeals process with WCB and are still not satisfied with the outcome can appeal within 30 days of that decision being issued
