Service Description

Emergency Shelter for women and children in need of safety because of violence in their lives. People who live at the shelter can access:
  • Safety planning
  • Advocacy
  • Childcare services
  • Follow-up support
  • Referrals to outreach services and second stage housing in locations across PEI
  • Information pertaining to resources such as lawyers, housing, stay away orders, transportation, child care and pet care
Transportation provided free of charge and cost of basic needs such as medication can be covered.

COVID-19 UPDATE: Accepting new residents but new screening and guidelines in place to keep residents and staff safe * People who need to self-isolate but need to go to Anderson House can and will NOT be given fines for not self-isolating
