Service Description

Emergency Shelter for individuals in need of safety because of violence in their lives. People who live at the shelter can access:
  • Safety planning
  • Advocacy
  • Childcare services
  • Follow-up support
  • Referrals to outreach services and second stage housing in locations across PEI
  • Information pertaining to resources such as lawyers, housing, stay away orders, transportation, child care and pet care
Transportation provided free of charge and cost of basic needs such as medication can be covered.

Eligibility:
Open to all women, trans, non-binary individuals 18 years and older and their children, who are experiencing abuse or at risk of abuse
