Enforces the animal control by-law. Residents can report dogs and cats roaming at large or defecating on their property.

Residents can call to make a complaint about the following bylaws:

Individuals may request a Criminal Background Check and Vulnerable Sector Check, often required for employment or volunteering.

Police can safely dispose of firearms, ammunition, and flares. Receipts are issued. Items can be dropped off in person or the Police will come to the home to pick-up them up.

Contact when requiring general, non-emergency police services, including to report a non-emergency crime/crime that is not in progress.

Enforces Summerside's Traffic and Parking Bylaw.

Caregivers can submit information about vulnerable loved ones to the police so that the information is on file if the person were to go missing or in case of an emergency.
