Kensington Police Services

Several town bylaws fall under the jurisdiction of the police department, including:

Individuals may request a Criminal Background Check, often required for employment or volunteering. Names and date of birth are used to check a person's criminal history.

Contact when requiring general, non-emergency police services, including to report a non-emergency crime/crime that is not in progress.

Provides assistance with lost dogs by providing temporary care for them while working to identify the owner. Dogs will be held for one day to be claimed before being transported to the PEI Humane Society.

Enforces Kensington's Traffic and Parking Bylaw.

Provides home visits, upon request, when a friend or family member expresses concern about a person's current health or safety.
