Note: With the postal strike, Canada Post has paused the Write to Santa program. However, some post masters at post offices will respond to letters if dropped off in person. Please contact your local post office to inquire. Additionally, letters can be given to Santa's elves at the Charlottetown Parade or dropped off at the Delta hotel in Charlottetown.
Write to Santa. Santa will reply before Christmas if you send him a letter by December 6th! And he replies in the same language as the letter!
If you are looking to make a gift or monetary donation to a holiday program, below is a list of programs that use the donations to provide gifts or food during the holidays. Many listed are also looking for volunteers. Please click on the green, underlined name below for full details.

- All of the programs listed above in the Holiday Hampers & Gifts section are accepting donations.
- Salvation Army, Summerside: Choose a gift from an Angel Tree to purchase for a child. Angel trees are located at Superstore, Salvation Army Thrift Store and Canadian Tire in Summerside.
- Christmas Wish Program, PEI Family Violence Prevention Services: Donate a $50 gift card to a requested store that help parents and caregivers who have stayed at Anderson House or were part the Outreach program in 2024, shop for their children this holiday season. Call 902-368-8658.
- Santas for Seniors - Western PEI: Accepts monetary donations to buy gifts buy gifts for all residents in a Community Care/Manor from Tignish to Wellington.
- Santas for Seniors - Montague Area: Choose a tag and purchase a Christmas gift for a senior who resides in local nursing homes. Monetary donations are also accepted to purchase gifts. The tree filled with the wishes can be found at the Cavendish Farms Wellness Centre in Montague, 21 Sullivan Drive. Gifts must be purchased and donated by December 6th.
- White Cross Christmas Campaign, CHMA: Donations are used to provide a gift package for program members.
- Tots for Toys, Ocean 100: Toy drive. See website for donation drop-off information.
- Angel Tree Christmas, Prison Fellowship Canada: Connects church communities and individuals with families of prisoners through the delivery of a Christmas gift on behalf of a parent who is incarcerated.
- Holiday Host Program, IRSA: Seeking Island residents to volunteer to host newcomers for a holiday tradition such as Christmas meal, party, or festive event.
- Book Donations, PEI Public Libraries: All PEI Libraries are accepting donations of new and very gently used books for children. Books will be given to local food banks for distribution as part of their Christmas Hamper program. November 1st-20th
- Feed My Sheep Breakfast Program - Christmas Sock Campaign, Trinity Church: Donate warm socks and stocking stuffers. See Facebook for list of suggested donations. Goods are distributed to breakfast program guests.
- Shelters across PEI: Shelters accept Christmas gifts for residents
- Be a Santa to a Resident, Prince Edward Home/Beach Grove Home (Charlottetown): Call 902-368-6758
- Be a Santa to a Resident, The Mount Continuing Care Community (Charlottetown): Accepting gift or monetary donations so that Santa can deliver gifts to residents Christmas morning.
- Stonepark Intermediate School, Charlottetown: Accepting gift card and monetary donations that go to helping families of kids who attend the school. Donations can be made by at the main office or by emailing Catherine at chkelly@edu.pe.ca or Denise at dydoyle@edu.pe.ca.
- Be a Santa to a Resident: Many nursing homes across PEI welcome Christmas gift donations for residents. Call or visit your local nursing home.
- Food Banks across PEI: All food banks are accepting donations for their regular service and their holiday hampers
- Holmans Ice Cream Parlour, Summerside: Seeking gift and monetary donations to their Christmas Joy Boxes that are going to help 25 community families. See link for donation requests.
- Food Drive, New Haven Army Cadets: Drive thru food collection on December 14th from 11am-3pm at the Kingston Legion, 15383 Trans-Canada Hwy, Clyde River. Donations go to the Crapaud Food Banks.
- Hillsborough Hospital, Charlottetown: Suggested donations of small gifts such as unscented lotions adn body care products, puzzle books, games, slippers, sweaters, candy, gift cards, etc
- PEI Women's Institute (PEIWI): Mitts for Kindness Campaign - mittens, hats, and scarves can be dropped off at the PEIWI in Charlottetown. PEIWI fills stockings for patients at Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Donations can be dropped off at the volunteer desk.
